Padre Island National Seashore: Texas Goldentop Flowers
Padre Island’s 130,434 acres and 66 linear miles of uninterrupted coastline is the longest remaining undeveloped stretch of barrier island in the world. Visitors enjoy salt-tinged gulf breezes, the sound of ocean waves, and the sight of precious marine wildlife, all set against a backdrop of beaches, dunes, prairies, and tidal flats. More than a beautiful park and an internationally famous birding destination, Padre Island also hosts critical conservation work. The barrier island is the most important nesting beach in the U.S. for the critically endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtle, depicted here. Every year, Park Service rangers work hand-in-hand with scientists, marine biologists, conservationists, and other representatives of a multi-agency task force to recover Kemp’s ridley and four other threatened and endangered sea turtle species. Celebrating the island, this floral seaside design and vintage-looking poster art would make for perfect home or office decor. It also serves as an excellent national park gift for the travel enthusiast in your life. As an original illustration, the design will look great as an unframed print, framed poster, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
